WoW! 30 years! It can't be!
My story? Well started work at JCHC in the spring of 79, as an aide on the hospital side, and continued to work for them for the next 18 years. Getting my LPN in 86, learning to scrub for OR, to becoming an LPN-C.
Every 6 months or so, saw me off traveling to another part of the country, mostly to visit with family, but getting some wild adventures in every once and a while.
May of 96, I met the most amazing man while tottling around on the yet primitive internet, and low and behold he would end up as my husband!
After about a year and a half of commuting back and forth for visits, I made the decision to move out to the Seattle, Washington area. That shocked everyone! I ended up working for a hospital close to SeaTac Internation on the ICU/Telemetry Unit, and as part of management team with Brian looking after an income-based property in south Seattle.
We'd often get away to explore the great outdoors that Washington State had to offer!
By end of 2005, Brian and I were less than enamored with the school systems as our daughter entered kindergarten, and after a shooting in our front yard, we made the decision to come "home" in March of 2006. While we miss that region of the PNW, its good to be back.
These days amongst all the kid activities, we are slowly renovating my family home, camping, being with family ... and yes! I'm an mmorpg'er!
