Since our last time together at the Total Sound Reunion my husband and I are now the owners of Stuart's Flowers 'N Produce in Central City. We have officially taken over the family business. We have 12 greenhouses that we fill from January to June for retail sale. This last year we potted over 1800 personal customer and business personal pots. It has been quite the experience this past year, especially taking over the business end of the company. I liked just planting flowers better! I also still own my own medical transcription business and my husband still owns his own plumbing business so that keeps us busy in the off season.
In the past year we also have had two daughters get married so had the pleasure of welcoming two new son-in-laws into the family. And can't forget we are the proud grandparents of one grandson. So life has pretty exciting and full this past year.
After graduation I immediately started Court Reporting school in Des Moines, Iowa.....Two years later I found myself living in New Orleans, Louisiana...What a change in life style.....Crazy, crazy town, but loved every minute of it....I could walk down the middle of the street with a drink in my hand at age 20!!! Partied hard (and worked some) for the next 4 yrs when I finally had enough and needed to come back home....Moved to some hick town, Fullerton, Nebraska, and worked as an official court reporter for the State of Nebraska for the next 12 years...After child #4 was born, decided it was time to stay home and take care of them so started up my own medical transcription business from my home and have been doing that ever since......

Jeralee Shotkoski-Hahn, age 28- Married Michael Hahn April 2013. Graduated from the University of Nebraska, December 2007, and works currently with Swanson, Russel & Associates in Lincoln, Nebraska....She works in their Marketing/Advertising Department. Mike is a physical trainer and manages Cornhusker Physical Therapy &Training in Beatrice.
Aaron Shotkoski, age 25. He has one son, Jullian Michael Shotkoski. They live in Loveland, Colorado.
Michaela Shotkoski Moravec, age 24 -- Married to Trevor Moravec July 2012. They live between Schuyler and David City. Michaela is a licensed mortician and funeral director. Trevor is an auctioneer for Ritchie Bros.
Taryn Shotkoski, age 22 - Lives in Lincoln and works at Lincoln Dialysis Center and enjoys life to the fullest.
I have two stepchildren also, Aaron and Ashton Stuart, ages 16 and 19. Aaron just graduated this year and will be attending lineman school in Norfolk. Ashton will be a junior at Palmer High School this next year.
My dad died in March 1995 of cancer so that was a big loss for me...I moved my mother up here to Central City then in 1998 (As her family is around this area anyway) so have enjoyed her being up here..She sold the big house on E Street also and I think it has been for sale a couple times since then...I have not been back to Fairbury since then...So it will be really weird to go back there and not stay at the family home...Lots of memories there!!!
