In Memory

Michael Roe Martin

Michael Monroe "Roe" Martin, of Lincoln, was born June 23, 1959 and passed peacefully in his sleep on Dec. 23, 2012. Roe had the most vivacious personality and touched the lives of many. He lit up the room with lots of humor and his special smile. He was a man with a big heart and was a very loving father. Roe never met a person he didn't like, and leaves behind many who loved him dearly! Roe always believed in the Lord and now he has gone to be with Him.

Survived by his children, Blake and wife Lauren, Brett, Bailey; and step-son, Barry all of Texas; his parents, Mike and Maxine; brother, Mitch and wife Marla; niece and nephews, Mason, Mattson, Michaela and Marcus; very dear friend Sally, and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, at the United Methodist Church, Fairbury. Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home of Fairbury is in charge of arrangements

So grateful that I was able to spend some time with you at the all class reunions these past few years. Your smile and the kindness in your eyes are what I see when I think of you. You will be missed Roe.
