Joined the Marine Corp in 1977;
graduated from SCC-Milford December 1980. Married Marcia in June 1982.
Worked for KJ Chevrolet, IBP in Dakota City, NE; Fairbury Implement, Jefferson County Dept of Roads, State of Nebraska Dept of Roads, City of Fairbury Volunteer Fire Dept.and Rescue, became an EMT in 2002 for Jefferson County Ambulance.
Also joined the Nebraska Army National Guard in June 1982 and served until February 2004. Retired from the Guards after serving active duty in Bosnia from January 2003 to September 2003. Upon my return from active duty, began my own business of
farm equipment repair and farming. Purchased a welding shop in 2007, have added towing services and a salvage yard to the repair and welding shop along with used car sales. Am still a member of the fire department and ambulance service and am still a bum.
